100th Anniversary Celebration. Come celebrate the founding of the League of Women Voters as well as the passage of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote!

There will be refreshments, songs by Kj, a presentation by Bruce Teeple, from the Union County Historical Society on the topic "Women's History in Union County", a recognition of women presently serving in elected offices in Union Co., and a toast to the tenaciousness of the women who fought to win the right to vote for women. We owe a debt of gratitude to those women. Please join us for this event!

Women Suffragists and Leaders. Historic Cemetery Tour Free one-hour walking tour of the historic Lewisburg Cemetery highlighting women leaders in the community. In 1920 the XIX Amendment was ratified, guaranteeing the right to vote for women.

Following the presentation there will be a Q & A session with the commissioners. Please note: this forum replaces our usual lunch forum for April.
